With the Yanks World Series hopes crushed by a better Astros team, and both New York NFL teams playing like division III squads, Mike won't have much to talk about for the next 3 months. Picking the Jets last night was clearly the kiss of death and put the nail firmly into the coffin of their season... and maybe Adam Gase's career... Sure there's the NBA, but it's really only of interest on the West Coast. Unless, perhaps, Mike starts following the Brooklyn Nets? Is it possible for an old dog learn new tricks? And speaking of old (mad) dogs: Chris Russo picked the Yankees to win the World Series this year. Perhaps MLB should put some quotes around the first word of the name of his show: High Heat. Because that's what he must have been when making that prediction.... Will these two ever reunite and give us a double dose of mush goodness? Stay tuned...
